"Peace of Mind" ... Three Generations of Family to Family Contact

views of our historic chapelFor generations the South Shore's Jewish Community has turned to Schlossberg & Solomon Memorial Chapel in their time of deepest need. Our website is designed to assist families from the South Shore area as well as those who may have moved and would still like to arrange a local funeral.

"I remember your grandfather ......"

Service is our watchword. As a family owned and operated funeral home, Louis Schlossberg, and his staff are able to address the needs of all families. Our independent, Jewish family owned status allows decisions to be made on the local level. We are not required to meet the goals and expectations of a corporate conglomerate that are often far removed from the area and the needs of the families we serve. Our Mission ...

We are committed to a Jewish tradition of family ownership.

We remain the only continuously Jewish family owned and managed funeral chapel on the South Shore. Our mission is to serve your needs first and foremost. Our professional staff works with your rabbi's direction if you are a member of a congregation and will assist you in finding the right rabbi for your needs if you are not a member.

We offer the highest level of professional attention, including our “Peace of Mind” pre-need program.
